BREAKING: Kenyan referee handed life ban
Kenyan referee Aden Marwa has been handed a life ban by Caf.
Marwa was one of the linesmen, who were set to officiate in Russia before the BBC aired an expose that saw him allegedly receiving a bribe of Sh60, 000 before a match.
Marwa, a Mathematics and Chemistry teacher at Komotobo Secondary school in Migori County, was approached by a journalist posing as a Ghanaian football official during the African National Championship.
The decision to hand Marwa the ban was reached at a Caf disciplinary board meeting where 10 other officials were handed suspensions and bans.
